Tayia and Joseph
How We Met
Me and my fiancé Joe have known each other for over 10 years. I’m not really sure when we first met because I was 5 and he was 13. We attended the same Christian school and he was friends with my bother in law and my sister growing up. He was also in my moms art class since she was a teacher at the school. It wasn’t until many years lasted when I was 15 and he was 23 did we actually start talking to each other. He was roommate with my other sister fiancé at the time so we just talked as friends for a while, we never really spoke in person. After a while he told me since i was so younge he felt weird talking to me and broke off the friendship. For a while he was super rude and distant. But I started beating someone else and about a year after that I set him up with my best friend, they dated for a while until they ended breaking up. My friendship with my best friend faded away because of her break up and I ended up becoming close friends with Joe again and we soon because best friends.now 18, the guy I had been dating wasn’t working out so I broke things off with him. A little while later Joe told me he liked me, and I reciprocated his feelings. So we started dating, after a week we told me he loved me and 4 months later he asked me to be his wife.
How He Asked
He took me on a picnic to the elfin Forest (one of my favorite places) and I brought my camera so we could take a picture for a photo ornament that we got and we were standing there (he had set his phone up to record but I thought he was just being a weirdo) and he told me he loved me and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Then he said he had a Christmas present he wanted me to open early and handed me a little wrapped ball. When I opened it it was a porcelain seashell and I couldn’t so he bent down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
