Molly and Kyle's Proposal at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium
How We Met
Kyle and I are high school sweethearts, he is my best friend. We met in homeroom on the first day of high school, but being that we were both very shy nothing happened right away. After building a friendship, a few months later he asked me to the winter semi-formal. Throughout the next four years we dated on and off and went to a few more formals together. I was shy and not ready for a serious boyfriend at the time, but by March of our senior year we began seriously dating and have been ever since. We have been together almost 7 years now and being with him for the rest of my life just feels rights. He is my best friend.
How He Asked
This past summer we decided to take a trip to Dallas, Texas so I could see my beloved Cowboys play a game. Kyle is a die-hard Jets fan so it was the perfect opportunity for him to see the Jets play the Cowboys in Arlington. We booked a trip to Dallas for the December 19th game. The day before the game we took a tour of the stadium with our friends who joined us for the weekend. The tour finished with access to walk around on the field… so obviously I wanted to take pictures all over! Kyle suggested our friends take a picture of us in the end zone… little did I know what he had planned. After we posed for the picture he began talking very romantically and I didn’t understand why. Kids were throwing the football near us so I tried to pull him out of the end zone so he wouldn’t get hit by the ball. It was in that moment that he knelt down on one knee and pulled out the ring. I couldn’t even tell you what he said because I blacked out (and he doesn’t remember what he said either). All I remember is that he asked me to marry him and I said yes!! That moment was the best and most amazing surprise of my entire lifetime and luckily our friends were able to capture the whole thing on camera. I am so blessed to be able to spend the rest of my life with my high school love, it’s been the most wonderful and exciting time of our life. It must be true love for die-hard Jets fan to propose in Dallas stadium:)
