Wedding Proposal Ideas in Castlewood state park

How We Met

Nicholas and I met in the summer of 2015, I was fresh out of a 6 year relationship and was sort of a wreck, but Nicholas had determination that I wasn’t even aware of at the time. From the very first day that he laid eyes on me he told his mother I was the girl he was going to Marry. Nicholas was a college football player just the kind of guy that all the girls had a crush on which is why I hadn’t the slightest clue that his feelings were so serious about me. Within two months of us knowing one another sparks were definitely flying we were inseparable! I had never fallen so quickly for anyone and honestly I was terrified of what could possibly happen to my heart again. Things were going so perfectly though. After 10 months of dating we found out we were pregnant we were excited, but our families not so much they told us all the negative things that can happen with bringing a child into this world. They ultimately tried everything to tear us apart but within that 9 months time we got stronger we both got better jobs a bigger house and gave birth to the most beautiful little boy in the world!! We were overjoyed and couldn’t be happier at least I thought!

How He Asked

The weather was starting to get beautiful out with the coming of spring so with our little one we always try to take advantage of the warmer days. We decided to go to one of my favorite parks with two of our best friends. I’m a little bit photography obsessed as Nicholas would say, so he knew I would spend most of our time out making him take pictures with me, but I had no idea that in the middle of forcing him to take picture after picture that in the middle of posing he was going to get down on one knee and say “you can’t be my girlfriend forever, so will you be my wife?” I was in awe! Not to mention the ring was everything I have ever wanted it was vintage, simple, elegant, and unique all at the same time it also featured my favorite stone in the center of the diamonds and opal. Everything about my proposal was a dream come true and I can’t wait to spend my life with my best friend!
