Natalie and Josh

How We Met

Josh and I have been together almost two years now.

How He Asked

I had just graduated from college at The University of Georgia (go dawgs!), so he said he wanted to take me on a date to celebrate. He told me that morning that we would be going on a picnic. We stopped at publix and bought our lunch, then headed out to Watson Mill Bridge State Park. I had never been there and I thought it was so sweet that Josh found somewhere new where we could have a picnic, since doing outdoor activities is kind of our “thing.” When we got there, we walked over by the lake and laid out our picnic and ate. It was kind of chilly that day, so Josh suggested we get up and walk around a little bit to warm up. When we stood up, I tried to start walking and he stopped me. Then he started saying all these sweet things (kept between the two of us (: ) and then he got on his knee and asked me to marry him!!!

Talk about an exciting weekend. After I said YES- I saw our friend Sara Katherine who Josh had asked to photograph our proposal and we had a mini engagement shoot. The rest of the day was spent calling all of our friends and family and trying to relax. I could not have asked for a more thoughtful proposal and I am so glad our good friend was there to capture it all!
