How We Met

It all started a little over two years ago when I saw her in a friends Snapchat story (how more millennial could we possibly get) and I couldn’t help but ask for her name. Fast forward a couple of weeks and the same friend invited me out to attend an ASU football game. Out of curiosity, I asked if the girl in her snap story would be there… she said yes. Now how could I possibly resist? Now the game didn’t go as smoothly as I would have liked. It was filled with awkward moments, a few minutes of silence… but there was just something about her that I was intrigued by. Following the game, I asked her out on a date. Thankfully she said yes and we totally hit it off. It soon became obvious to me that this was no one ordinary. At dinner, she told me how she wanted to change the broken education system in the United States. She expressed to me her passion for helping the children less fortunate than her. This girl sitting in front of me had the heart of gold and it was at that moment that I knew I was going to marry her. Over the years, she became my biggest supporter, my rock, my personal travel buddy.. my best friend. I honestly had no idea that it was possible to love someone as much as I love her.

How He Asked

When the time came to propose, I knew it had to be great. It had to be outside of the box and something very special. Now what better place to do it than in the big apple? On the day of, I took her on a stroll through Central Park, pointing out different sites, hoping that my nerves weren’t showing right through me. I took her to the top of Bethesda Terrace, got down on one knee and asked the love of my life to marry me. Judith, I love you with all of my heart and I can’t wait to spend forever with you.
