Kitti and Nick

How We Met

Nick and I met early 2013, he added me on Instagram and Facebook and we arranged to go on a date. From there the rest was history, we realised early on that we knew each other when we where younger and instantly had a deep connection like no other, it felt like we had known each other for our whole lives. After the first few weeks of dating we spoke of marriage, how many children we wanted and careers. Our love only grew stronger with time, I remember both of us crying when we had to be separated, it felt as though part of you was missing, you are not whole without one another.

How He Asked

On our second year anniversary Nick and I looked at engagement rings and I chose one, got my size and he began paying it off. On our fourth year anniversary Nick surprised me the day before and told me to pack my bags for a weekend away. After work he picked me up and drove me to the Gold Coast, in a beautiful resort. The next morning we woke up at 3:30 am and he said that we had to be up at 4:00 am to go somewhere.

We where picked up and dropped off at a hot air balloon over the Gold Coast Hinterland, which was stunning after the hot air balling we where taken to O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards for a champagne breakfast, where he took me for a picnic and expressed his love for me and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was so happy and moved by his words , I instantly burst into tears and said yes of course!
