Kerry and Will's Marriage Proposal in Cape Charles
Will had planned a weekend away to Cape Charles for a long weekend. We stayed at a historical bed and breakfast and spent our days on the beach and walking around the town. On Saturday, Will made “dinner” reservations at 4:30 p.m. at The Oyster Farm Seafood Eatery. I couldn’t understand why he made the reservations so early and why he was so insistent on being in that area around that time. Right around 6:30 p.m., he eagerly wanted to leave the restaurant and walk on the beach. Little did I know this was due to “prime photography lighting.” I was in no hurry so I wanted to walk around the marina, but Will was very insistent on getting to the beach. He led me down to a small secluded beach right around dusk and shortly after, he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. Half a second later, I said yes!
I later found out that my girl friend Stephanie contacted a photographer and got her in contact with my fiancé so she could get all the details from him. We have been together for 3 years and reside in Virginia Beach, VA. Our wedding is planned for next year!
