Emilly and Cameron
We went to the same high school together but never spoke to one another until we were both in Orange Beach for Spring Break. I was there for a softball tournament and he was there visiting his grandfather. We started talking to one another on the Ferris Wheel at the Wharf. We’ve been together ever since.
We had made reservations for dinner at our favorite restaurant on New Years Eve but his step-mom told us she wanted to take pictures on the beach before we ate. His dad and step-mom left before us so they were already there when we finally made it out on the beach. We walk to where the water and rocks are crashing into each other and I see a bottle with a white rose, a mermaid charm, and a note inside of it. He told me to open it to see what it says.
In the note he said how blessed he was to have me and how much he loved me. Then at the very end of the message it said will you marry me? And I looked over at him and he was on one knee with the ring in his hand.
I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal.
