Emilia and Aaron

How We Met

Met through Best Buy dating for 4 years.

How He Asked

We had reserved a night at The Ruthin Castle and made dinner reservations for 7pm.

While settling in after our 6 hour drive from London to Wales, I began getting ready for our dinner. Aaron suggested we explore the castle a bit. Our first stop was the bar where I ordered a local Welch whisky and Aaron had a local beer. As we walked around the castle, where I blindly thought we were just exploring the castle, Aaron began looking for a way to get to the roof of the castle. We stumbled along a really old stairway that had a sign “No Trespassing”… well we trespassed! Of course, the stairway was was very old and in deteriorating conditions, hint: the sign. Oh, well! We were in for an adventure!

We both managed to make it to the rooftop, bearing witness to the beautiful, clear night sky. So many of stars to steal your gaze and lose your thoughts in.

“Whatever you do, don’t step backwards.” Aaron said, confusing me. Suddenly, he got on one knee and proposed!
