Cynthia and Ricardo
How He Asked: At around the time he proposed, I had a good idea it was going to happen, but nonetheless it took me by surprise! It was a truly magical day, no he didn’t take me to Disneyworld, but he didn’t have to! He took me to a place where we have shared special moments together, Austin, Texas. For different reasons that place has always brought us peace and happiness. The day started from the moment we hit the road, he had a playlist ready for us with songs we have enjoyed over the course of our 5 year relationship. We love music and love road trips, so this was truly an amazing moment I’ll never forget, that playlist really made my heart melt. After a fun day in Austin and the San Marcos outlets, we were headed back home, or at least that’s what I thought! He took an unexpected turn to the state capitol, where about one year prior to that, we had talked about our wedding plans. We played frisbee, laughed, laid on the grass and talked about happy things, then he started talking about how much he loved me and all other cute cheesy things… he got on one knee and asked me to be his wife with a ring on his hand. I laughed, cried, smiled and said yes all at the same time. We were so happy and now even happier that we are closer to being husband and wife.
