Bear and Asia (aka the Cutest Couple in the World)
Her Story: The first time I ever saw Bear was in May of 2009. The second I laid eyes on him I’m pretty sure I started drooling! SUCH A BABE! I think we ended up officially meeting each other a few nights later at Woodstock’s Pizza in San Luis Obispo, but we didn’t converse with each other until another couple nights later during dinner at Firestone with a bunch of friends. Bear’s presence instantly made me nervous. I shook the ketchup bottle without realizing the top was off and I spilled ketchup all over myself! I would stumble over my words and act like a complete idiot. We saw each other very often during July, and went on a lot of crazy summer adventures with our group of friends! I was always attracted to him, but I never thought it would turn into anything because he seemed so utterly OBLIVIOUS that I even existed! The night I realized we could end up as more than friends was when we went to the Mid State Fair with our best friends! We ordered the exact same combination of dip n dots, Bear threw up on the swings, cried on the zipper, and gave me a piggy-back ride around the carnival. Our friendship was just so effortless and I never felt like I had to impress him or pretend like I was cooler than I actually am! Then, one night, Bear asked me to meet him at Avila Beach to “talk about some things”. I was so nervous that I threw up and later backed my car into a PT Cruiser in the Taco Bell parking lot. When I met him, he told me that he believed God had put me in his life for a reason and he would like to pursue a relationship with me! I immediately knew my answer was going to be a big fat “YES!!” but I made him wait a few days! I am so excited to marry my best friend just three years after that fateful night at Avila Beach!
His Story: Back in the early years at Cal Poly, my friend and I stumbled across a local magazine at the cafeteria. After flipping through the pages, I stumbled upon an incredibly hot babe! I knew this blonde bombshell lived somewhere in the San Luis Obispo county but I didn’t think much of it after that. A couple years later, I meet her for the first time but only viewed her as a friend. As we became closer in our friendship, we started to find out all these things we had in common. Our favorite ice cream is peanut butter and chocolate, just to name one! Soon we started holding hands and cuddling to Owl City, and that is when I fell for her! I sat on Avila Beach for several days and wrote in a notebook about all the the things God was revealing to me. I felt lead to begin a relationship with her and asked her out one night at the very same beach! Luckily she said yes!
