Marriage Proposal Ideas in Disney World

How We Met

I first met Zack when he was interviewing at the Hospital Pharmacy I worked at. I knew the first time I saw him that he was going to be very special to me. I never believed in love at first sight until I met him. A few months later he started the job, I never thought I would see him again. We did not talk much at the beginning because we worked different shifts. One day when we were finally on the same shift we talked and found out we had a lot in common. We exchanged phone numbers and talked from the time we woke to the time we went to bed. It seemed though that we never ran out of things to say to each other.

Engagement Proposal Ideas in Disney World

We had just hung out for the first time outside of work and the next day I went on a trip to the United Kingdom for a month. It was when I was there when I confessed to him that I had feelings for him. I had butterflies in my stomach and was hoping if he liked me too……he did! He said he was going to wait for the end of my trip to tell me. So instead of waiting we planned our first date for when I got home. We went on our first date and after that we have been inseparable.

How He Asked

Over a year later we were on a vacation to Disney. On December 2nd 2017 we went to the Grand Floridian, my favorite place, to see the giant gingerbread house and Christmas tree. Zack was sick that weekend so he seemed a little off that day. I asked him if he was having fun and he nervously answered he was and asked if I wanted to go to the front of the resort. He took me to a small garden area that had purple flowers and a grass statue of Mary Poppins.

It was just me and him and he took off his hat. He said to me how much he loved me and cannot wait to spend the rest of his life with me and proceeded to get down on one knee. He was so nervous when he did it and opened the box upside down and immediately flipped it around. I was so surprised and speechless and let out a confirmed mumble as my answer. The ring was beautiful and was his grandmother’s ring passed down to him. It was truly the most magical day of my life.
