Bailley and Robert
How We Met
I met Robert our freshman year of high school. We had a science class together and since I was always late for class my “punishment” was I had to sit with him and a group of friends. He was always that weird kid but had the sweetest heart of anyone I have ever met. The summer before senior year started Robert and his family moved in next door. The second week after school started back he was out for a run and I had just gotten home from hanging out with friends. My mom was outside on the porch when I pulled in the driveway. All of a sudden it began to pour down rain. That’s when my mom saw Robert and INSISTED I offer him a ride home. Completely embarrassed I asked Robert if he wanted a ride home and he said he was good, the rain didn’t bother him. About an hour later I messaged him on Instagram to ask if he had made it home safe. Then I creeped a little on his Instagram and I was trying to figure out how and when did he become so HOT. After a few messages on Instagram he finally asked for my number and we began talking non-stop after that. He asked me to hang out the next day with him and it was like we had known one another for ever.
How He Asked
Fast forward two years later and…. I won a free photoshoot with a local photographer. Once arriving at the location I could tell something was wrong with Robert. He was very pale and just not acting like his usual self. I brushed it off and did not think anything else about it. After a few poses we walked up to this pavilion, surrounded by beautiful flowers, with the morning sun beating down perfectly. The photographer captured a few pictures and asked if there were any other poses we had in mind. Robert spoke up and said “I have one” and that is when he dropped to one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. He was holding the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. Immediately joy overflowed my body and it was like I was froze in time. I could not form any words because I was in complete shock! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the photographer did not have any idea that Robert was going to propose either! He said he just wanted to wing it all. LOL Robert and I do not plan on getting married until October of 2019. It is a good ways away but it will be worth it. He has currently pursed a career at the fire department and I am in school to become a teacher. Life is so good at the moment and I get to marry the man of my dreams! (eeeeekkkk)!!!
