Jordan and Trevor's Amazing Emerald Bay Proposal in Lake Tahoe

How we met: Our story began in 2010 at the University of Florida. We met at a very “romantic” sorority/fraternity party and dated throughout the rest of college. As graduation approached, we decided that Trevor would move to Atlanta to start his career and I would stay in Florida to finish my master’s degree. We dated long distance for a year; both traveling between Florida and Georgia.

How he asked: Trevor and I took a trip to Lake Tahoe, California to celebrate a new job for him and my recent graduation. We had both never been and were excited to explore everything Lake Tahoe had to offer.

One morning, Trevor told me that he found an art gallery he wanted to check out to look for a piece of art for our new apartment.

On the way, we stopped at Emerald Bay. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. Of course I had to get out of the car so I could take a picture. When Trevor got down on one knee, I think I went into a state of shock.

Luckily, Trevor had hired Jentry Dryden to capture the whole thing! I love looking back on these beautiful pictures to remember the best day of my life so far.
