Alessandra and Richard

How We Met

Richard and I first met in middle school, when we were just 12 years old, in the 7th grade! I had just been transferred to a new school, and he was one of the nicest guys in my grade, hands down. However, we were just friends and ended up going separate ways in high school, and college. It wasn’t until I was 23 that I ran into him again at a party in our hometown. We immediately recognized eachother and got to talking and I realized we were both interested in the same career paths. We exchanged numbers, with the only interest in my mind being to network, haha. (His might have been more :)) After two years of just being friends, I suddenly and very abruptly, started to feel more for him, and deep inside, I knew there were mutual feelings between us. I decided to take the plunge and tell him how I felt. The rest is history! A friendship turned into the most beautiful relationship, in the most natural ways. Our story and the journey was truly a dream come true, something I know every girl, including me, dreams of having with their significant other. We fell in love quickly, and effortlessly.

How He Asked

Richard and I had always talked about traveling somewhere together, and he knew Italy and Greece were always a dream of mine, so that’s exactly what we planned. Little did I know what would await me at the end of our trip! He proposed in Santorini, on the most beautiful day of our entire vacation!
This day was the most magical, surreal, most beautiful moment of my life! Richard had told me earlier that morning that we had dinner plans that evening, so naturally, I thought nothing of it and got ready when he told me to.

Marriage Proposal Ideas in Santorini, Greece

I was starving so all I was thinking about was Greek food! Little did I know he would walk me over to this open terrace, where our favorite song was playing, and photographers in every corner were waiting to capture this entire moment with the most perfect sunset behind us. It was honestly the most perfect proposal!
