Corrie and Dan | Picnic Engagement Shoot

For a couple of weeks, Dan and I had planned to go Lincoln Park Zoo for “Zoo Lights”. In the middle of December on a Saturday evening, we made our way to the zoo. They put on a huge display of Christmas lights for everyone to enjoy. It was a chilly, snowy night as we walked hand and hand around the whole park. After walking around the zoo Dan suggested that the two of us look at the view from the bridge. We walked over to the center of the bridge. At this very moment everyone else on the bridge seemed to disappear. Dan grabbed me very tightly and told me there was something he needed to ask me. He got down on one knee and pulled a little black box from his jacket pocket. He opened up the box and to my surprise there was a beautiful, sparkling ring inside. He then asked if I would marry him. I was completely shocked and excited at the moment, just repeating, “Yes!” He put the ring on my finger and we kissed and hugged. We could not be happier to spend the rest of our lives together!
